    one person tents

Hi all. I know there's loads of discussion on tents elsewwere but I'd be grateful for any recommendations on ONE person tents. The Coleman Raid has been mentioned on another thread and a friend has recommended a Pac mac one person which I've seen in action and looks good; he has offered to lend it to me but I would like to buy one any way having decided against the bivvying option, so any thoughts would be welcome. Cheers.

I still like the Terra Nova Laser Comp. Well made and very light. it is expensive but quality usually is.

this seems an amazing tent to me
ive recently purchased one but am a bit put off by the carbon tent pegs, they look flimsy so ive got some titanium ones as well
it may just be me but i always work on the fact that if sommerts gonna go wrong it will, when i saw the carbon ones i thought mmmm, blowin a gale , broken pegs , eeek, no thanks

The carbon fibre pegs are also a bit short for my liking. Prefer pegs with a curve on top to help hold on better.

I'm very happy to give unwanted carbon fibre pegs a good home - could swap for macpac's finest indestructible, unbendable alloys if you would like

One man tent! What's the point?

Surely you should use a bivvi bag!
