    Snowdon

Couldn't find an old thread on this.. there must be one..

    Anyway many coming to it?

Weather is looking spot on, light winds, no rain, probably cloud free, probably upper teens at most temp wise..

With the course changes at the top - quicker runners can use the railway up and down - it could be a rapid year..

    Usual beer session afterwards..

How come searching 'snowdon' in titles didn't bring it up...

Unfortunately, for the first time in 8 years, I'm having to give it a miss this year as I'm off to my parent's golden wedding anniversary celebrations (if only they hadn't changed the date!!). Hopefully back next year though so long as they let me in after a year off.

No wonder Andi Jones keeps winning if he's allowed to get a lift on the train up and down! It's not like he needs the advantage....

ha... it wouldn't hep. the train takes about an hour.. I'm surprised there is no 'race the train' up hill race as it just seems sucha unique opportunity and with the train taking close to an hour a nice hard but achievable target for many runners..

I'm having to miss it - couldn't get out of a 40th so managed to get someone to take my place. Pity as I've done it last 2 years and really enjoyed it, particularly the atmosphere in Llanberis and the support on the mountain - it's a bit special. Should be an interesting race with strong international teams. Have a good one whoever's running - I'll keep an eye on the results and watch the highlights Sunday night.
