    Bolder Boulder 10k

Thought there would have been a thread on this, seeing that two of our forum members have been running for England at the event this Monday just gone. All three of the English lads seemed to run well. Race was won in 29.52 (You have to consider the altitude, heat, weather etc) and the English boys finished as follows.

    20th Simon Deakin 31.56 (Leeds)
22nd Glen Cornish 31.58 (Sale Harriers Manchester)
25th Jason Ward 32.33 (Alty AC)

Think this link will work to the race website for those interested. www.bolderboulder.com

might as well comment. I think i ran OK but would have done better with a few more days to acclimatise to the altitude. Everyone else seemed much more comfortable than me - I was getting dropped on the smallest hill on the first couple of days and we were only jogging really.
all in all a successful trip - apart from nearly getting run over a couple of times and continually leaving things in cafe's and on chairs we managed to keep it down to just the one near death incident. And for the record the average american seems to be completely bonkers.
to bed now - 33 hours awake and its starting to get to me a bit!!
