trail race prizes
does anybody know what would be considered too many prizes for a prize giving. We are running the Gibson Grind in Kendal and have about 25+ prizes plus spot prizes. Will this make the prize giving to long and people will get fed up or should we get some more. What are you views on prize giving in general????????

1st to 6th Male
1st to 6th Female
V40 M & F
V50 M & F
V60 M & F
Team prize 1st 3 Male and 1st 3 Female
Only one prize per person if a Veteran is in the top 6 the the Vets prize move's down to the next person.
Thats 24 prizes gone.
so would that keep everybody happy or is it best to also give the 1st x 3 vets in each age group . what do you think ???????????
Don`t ignore the five year gap`s i.e vet 55, 65 ect it`s one thing being competitive at say 52 but quite another trying to compete at 58 against guys that have just turned fifty.
good luck and with the event, which i have run a couple of times and can only recommend to all and sundry, a great course with a great purpose.
