I was gutted I couldn't make it as I thought it might suit. Well done to everyone who did turn up. Well done to Mike any Watty. I had a feeling the record might go after I reccied it a few weeks ago.

Fitness can't be stored. It must be earned over and over, indefinitely.
Anyone seen any results for this?
I want to see the effects of my little detour down the cliffs followed by much swearing and contouring towards the tarn.
Does anyone know how big of a field will be entering the race tomorrow?
Could anyone tell me what time in the morning you can register at?and how long before the race?thanks
Won by Rob Jebb, in a new record, with Mike Robinson second, who I think beat his old course record with it!
Anna Lupton first lady, I think she also broke course record.
About 40 runners, which was better than the 10 that ran when it was in it's "revitalised infancy", I think 3 years ago.
Why walk when you can run.
You can usually assume that registration will be open an hour before any race begins, sometimes earlier as the organisers may be on scene flagging sections of the course. Even if you arrive early and nobody is there you can always hang around. The races tab on the homepage will give you a start time for the race from which to estimate your arrival time.
Luke Appleyard (Wharfedale)- quick on the dissent
