    Ted is a very good runner with super down hill ability.

    Ted Mason is pretty well known through wharfedale and is usually identified as "the best descender bar none"

    First time i've seen this programme, apart from the fellrunning it was interesting watching the building of the drystone wall bridge and nice to see a female blacksmith (got to be more interesting than being a tax accountant)

    They showed Rob Hope going over the line in first. Ian Holmes and Tom Adams were 2nd and 3rd before Ted.

    half decent show, but the indents with Ade Edmondson were utterly pointless and cringeworthy.

    I spotted myself loitering with intent at the start.

    yes, thats precisely the reason I dont watch it,much as I love the Dales.
    Done the Burnsall road race and I think this might be the year I finally get around to doing the fell race.
