Talking Most Expensive V Cheapest Race

Is it just me being Scottish but was it worth nearly £40 to do the Edinburgh marathon?

It's my nearest big one and I would love to have given it a go but after doing a fair few fell races I can't stomach paying over a tenner!

The cheapest I've done and still one of the best was the Trunce at only £1.20 - fantastic value!

£40? Far better value than the best part of £30 for the recent Manchester 10k!

I paid £6.00 for a 20 mile LDWA event, been fed and watered every 6 miles and had a meal at the end too!

    Borrowdale Fell race £4.00.....priceless.
