Has anybody got any info. on the reason that this race was cancelled? The WFRA website doesn't give any detailed reason. Cheers.

I thought it was just due to the weather. I thought that was what I was told last night.
I'm off to Wales this weekend and I'm planning to take in the Moel Hebog race this Saturday. What can a Lancashire lad expect from this race.
Its my second Welshy race, will the Welshy's look after me?
Any forumites doing this?
Say hello to the Darwen Dashers vest
Cheers

Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
A much overlooked race and route in my view, in the last few years its been moved dates each year, been cancelled and as a result numbers seem to have been low..........reckon it would have been a superb option for the Welsh leg of the Brits instead of Y Garn.
4 miles with 2500 feet climb, relatively gentle first 500 metres before a long, steep climb, some route choices on the scramble up to the summit and back down - the scrambly section is as rough as anything, interestingly sharp rock with injuries most years. Also a classic record which may never get beaten - CD in 1989, 43.57...most people wont get to the summit in less than 40 mins!
Enjoy!!
Consider yourself lightly; consider the world deeply.
