    Was there on Saturday - had a pint in Heptonstall, then walked to Blue Pig (pint) then climbded up to the Robin Hood at Pecket Well (pint) back to Blue Pig (pint) then back up to Heptonstall for last oders (pint) - all in 3 hours - highly recommeded

    Really enjoyed our reccec last night - the sun finally shone - fantastic evening

    MORE RECCES;
    Just to fine tune the route/plan marshalls we'll be running the route regularly over the next week
    A few of us will nip out tonight again (Friday) 19.00
    And tomorrow (Saturday) morining for a long run (10/12 miles) including the route on the way out and back - Meet 07.00am (TBC - pm me if you're up for it)
    In both cases meet at Heptonstall at the White Lion Pub

    Fine tuning the route eh? (or is it working out the best way up and down the trods to give you that extra edge on race day? :thumbup

    Have a good run out tonight folks - I'm hoping to be there next Friday for a preview of the route and possibly to help with flagging on the Saturday.

    Enjoyed the recce last night, great fun on the descent from High Brown Knoll! May be up for the long run tomorrow. Earlier the better for me!
    It's only training if it's raining. It's no fun in the sun.

    Great stuff Mart - we normally do a 7am start then do about 10-12 miles - steady pace 2 hours/may be 2 and half if we re having fun.
    Won't be massive - often just 3 or 4 of us - if you PM a mobile to me I will sms tonight with the definite.

    Good route maybe Heptonstall - Midge Hole - High Brown Knoll - (ie Festival route) then do a big chunk of last weeks reservoir bogs route (I've still got the map) before returning to HBK and back down festival route.

    Anyone else fancy that - FStien? CharlieB?
