Thirty stitches, poor bloke was in tears getting his jersey - six inches to the left and it would've been a fence post and death or disability. Professional cyclists are the toughest of all sportsmen.

So... One cyclist taken out by a photographers motorbike, and now several taken out by a camera car.

Perhaps the race to get the pictures is getting a bit stupid??

The driver should face criminal action for dangerous driving and endangering lives, doubtful that will happen though. And a bad wreck for Vino too, broken pelvis and femur is intense.

A picture here I found posted on Facebook by Track Fairy - incredible how calm the guy was at the end of the stage.

Much respect to him there and flecha as well.
You wonder at the twat driving the car.

Id had a live update from my tour reporter earlier.
Words being flecha and hooogerland been dumped in the ditch. Phew didnt realise it was that bad.
Whats a french media car doing that close. Its not needed.

Did you see the interview with Hoogerland afterwards? Basically he said that it was a mistake and no hard feelings and now I'm off for my 30 stitches pleased I'm still alive. What a guy. No complaining no blaming. Just like football then.

Good to see Voekler in yellow. I think he's a rider we can trust.

Imagine if Rooney had been injured as badly - it would've been tabloid hysteria, game over for the season and all you can eat hookers for the lad.

I fail to understand why anyone gives a damn about those idiots.
