The 2008 105 mile epic was my favourite and certainly gave Denise the confidence to go on and get round her BGR in June. Im glad the GL3D is back.

Ooo, sounds ACE! Never been a big fan of the KIMM bogtrot, so sticking to ridges and (hopefully) defined tracks will certainly tempt me to give it a go.

Having been keeping an eye on the Salomon 4 Trails race last week and wanting to do it, makes this a definite UK equivilent that should be popular - just don't let Salomon buy it out Shane!

    Anyone else doing this?
The forecast's starting to look mildly alarming...

I'll be there along with Bozeat Runner. Forecast looking a little better, albeit cold but less rain and no real wind to speak of. Not quite how I imagined it though when I entered!!

Yes, the first two days look almost (whisper it) perfect running/walking/crawling conditions

I'll be there and looking forward to it. Hideously unfit as can;t train during the week because of work - so this is going to be a slow and leisurely tour of the lakes. I can't wait and yes, the weather looks OK so far, and I'll take OK any day!

I'm in. Three good things have happened, so I might get round the course: My dry bag arrived today after I chased it up and they found it sitting in the dispatch dept owing to a communication problem. It's nice and dry in Coniston at the moment. And the effects of Monday's yoga session are wearing off, thank goodness.
