Bit of judicious pruning on the edge climb means its now passable, ready for the route tapes to go out. Fine conditions underfoot at present and a fair forecast should see some fast times...

If you could turn up early to help the registration team keep on top of it that would be great, thanks

Thanks to all for turning out last night - It may have been wet but it certainly wasn't cold. Conditions underfoot not perfect for quick times but it didn't seem to bother the front end runners...

Thank you to the super organisers, marshals, supporters and runners. I managed to do a 20ft bum slide down the 1st ascent on the way back from taking the photos. Impressive haha. Nigel is raising money for the Thomas Theyer Foundation. No obligation but if you wish to make a small donation from as little as £2 please follow this link -
https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Nigel-Jeff Thomas was a keen fell runner who ran for Buxton AC. He died in 2013 just a month after his 18th birthday when falling on Parkhouse hill whilst out on a training run. Thomas had ADHD and running helped him cope with his condition.
Thank you so much. If anyone wants the high quality original please give us a shout noting the file name bottom left. Original has none of the writing on. Keep on running every one :-)

I did try to take the photos from the furthest point of a little flat(ish) bit on that brutal climb. Shouting run for the photo helped too :-) Well done on your race. Lovely little run that one :-)
