You won't need a map, even I found my way around

Following the "warm up" round the field and the jog up the street it's then a classic up & down race.

Village cake stall should be in attendance as well as the Run Direct stall for equipment, courtesy of John& Linda Bostock.

My Clayton colleagues are providing great support for marshalling etc but with the clash with Dentdale many are "away". I am still looking for a bit a of marshalling support - not necessarily on the moor- so Mr Pudge if you want to volunteer I'll be in Pendleton from noon. I'll then include you again in the next Thursday night time trial in Great harwood

I'll post some more news of route conditions tomorrow evening.

    Cheers

Did some flagging this afternoon in pouring rain. Yes it is relatively straightforward. I've tried to mark a least troublesome route through the bracken to the high point of the course. Generally conditions are good for this part of the fell running world - not dry by any means
but probably more testing than last year. The main descent is a brainless blast.

One final reminder that the 2.00pm start is earlier than last year.

Parking is generally good but please be responsible & don'tupset the supportive villagers -registration in Village Hall from12.30 on.

    Cheers

    MIKE

well... managed to crawl round and beat the hour. nice to see Ady near the finish
well organised and 10/10 for marking the course and the army of marshalls at the road crossings etc.
for his first time organising the race he did a great job. will do this again next year (without the beer the night before)
