The Barrel Inn Fell Race Eyam

For all of you that can't wait for the results to be posted. How about this:

    http://www.eyamsports.ik.com/p_Barrel_Fell_Race.ikml

Race last night, results this morning

Got to hand it to the organisers of this great local race.

    Shame about the weather

Many thanks to the organisers and those poor marshalls on top in the wind and the rain.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results

Excellent race and well marshalled - lots of standing round on a damp windy evening couldn't have been that pleasant.

    Thanks to all involved.

ST - still trying to figure out how you halved the difference from Thursday to Tuesday. Secret squirrel training does not account for it!?
'Normal' people are the ones you don't know very well.

Well firstly I was trying to keep well clear of Darth OTDS after upsetting him on the lap round the field (caused a bit of ungentlemanly jostling and a near pile up). Then I was just trying to avoid getting pneumonia.

Getting in shape for turning MV50 next year! Bring it on!

I was just trying to give that rather attractive lady in tight red lycra shorts a bit more room!

Don't wish your 49th year away. Me, Sgt Major & Mr Fat busted a gut for 1st V50, only to find out at prize giving that some interloper / greyhound V50 from Staffs Moorlands had ruined our party and finished 4th overall. He obviously has a long running pedigree, not just an ex-footballer looking to work up a thirst.
Its better to have fought and lost, than not have fought at all.

    Fairy nuff

To both your being a gent' and to turning 50.

It's a bit of a bu**er though when you're having to compete in the same category as Lloyd.

Check out the dark peak site, go to results, select last years results and see if there is a gps track available for it.

    Alternatively, you can visit
    http://eyamsports.nfshost.com/Barrel_Fell_Race.htm
and see if this gives you what you want. May see you there...
