I didn’t see much that would worry the big 4 teams. But hopefully we shall have a good new team coming to their prime in 4 years time.
    Ever optimistic!

Fiji-Australia was a good game. Fiji looked great in attack and defence, but are going nowhere unless they sort their lineouts out - Australia stole 6 of them!

England were back to their frustrating, boring best.

With drop goals and headers we've got this sorted for sure!

Good game yesterday. I wasn't expecting England to be able to contain the power of the SA forwards. They did very well for a long time, but in the end, the SA scrum again proved decisive.

It did make me wonder if I'll ever watch an England team that doesn't have the game plan of winning it by racking up penalties. Other nations seem to have a much more try-centred approach.

The final should be a good game. I think if England had got to the final, they would've been easily beaten by NZ.

Yes, I thought the lads did very well too, as I had expected them to be annihilated by the saffas. I know England got a lot of stick because of their poor performance in the Autumn and they were also said to have had the luck of a relatively easy group, which is true too. However, their plucky performance in last night's match redeemed them a lot. It'll be interesting to see how they far against the Argies next week.

Your right, it was the scrum whatdoneit for them and also their limited attacking options, and abilty to score tries. Hopefully, that'll be an area they can work on too under the new management team.

As a Wales supporter, once they are gone I approach all games as a neutral, I just want to enjoy good games. I thought England would be well beaten, so very wrong there, but if the sport of rugby wants to encourage more supporters and followers I would say the England v Boks game is how not to do it.
Having watched some incredible all action, skilfull, entertaining games, last night was dire. Maybe one for the connoisseur (who used to play club rugby in the scrum) but for others (non partisan) it was all a bit boring.
