Pete Bland sells race route maps for the lakes and I presume race routes in other areas are available. I'm sure some forumites can/will post a few routes too.

This is a site done by backpackers but they tend to pick some nice routes and theres stacks of photos and info to give you some ideas with distances ranging from 6 to serious miles

I like to have a look at the walkers websites Striding edge etc they have good pictures to.They give you a good idea of some good routes
