im going to be buying a pair of shoes end of the week and ive notice that there are not many structured shoes why is this i wear brooks ravenna at the moment and have always had structured shoes
You don't need supportive shoes (in the same sense as on the road) when running offroad because every footstrike is different resulting in less chance of overuse injury caused by poor foot mechanics and less impact due to the softer surface. Depends what sort of stuff you're running on really, if you're running on well graded trails then stick to your road shoes, but if you're running on rough stuff or fell type terrain then go for some trail or fell shoes.
