    Cross Country Season

It starts for me on Saturday with the Red Rose League at Leigh.

Looking forward to it immensely. Last year after my back trouble it was the start of getting myself out running properly again and completing all the Mid Lancs, Red Rose and the National got me back ready for the PPP.

This year I'm starting fitter than last (but not by much) so I'm hoping to get a better winter in and push towards 4:30 come the Peaks.

I've never raced Leigh before - it's a new one for the Red Rose.

NW Sunday League takes guests I think, if that's any use. They just ask you not to go through the finish funnel.

No problem just register yourself on the day with the event officials.
