    They tried that one, but it turned out too expensive when some of the outer rim decided not to join in (at least, not on their terms).

    I do often agree with him and he is bang on.

    Like him or not, we are short of politicians who will speak their mind, without fear of the loss of patronage and clearly he does not have to suck up to anyone.

    I can imagine that some will jump on to his comments about a German dominated Europe, but I have German colleagues and I can tell you that they are also concerned about this.
    One guy in Dusseldorf last week asked me if the Greeks would ever have imagined they would be ruled by a German Chancellor from Berlin - that is how at least some Germans see it.

    You're right at least you know where you are with Farage! It's the first time I've agreed with the entirety of a speech of his though.....
