I didn't manage it either: legs are being weird and not up to racing.
Plenty of other South Wales Winter Series races to pick up in the New Year.
It's a great race, though!

....it's all downhill from here.
Split times are out...
Quite unexpected really... appears my climbing wasn’t quite up to scratch yesterday, rather than my descending...
24th to the top, but pleasantly surprised that my descent time 10:30 was 35th quickest, only 2 mins slower than the fastest descent...
Now that’s still a huge disparity between the climb and the descent, and two minutes is still a huge chunk of time to lose over a mile and a half, but I was expecting to lose far more than that going down... appears I didn’t push hard enough going up...
I think on the short up and downs Travs, you have to bury yourself on the climb, almost treat the summit as the finish, then let the descent take care of itself. The wobbly legs initially on the descent soon disappear when you are focussing on your footing!
This race went ahead today. Unfortunately I, along with presumably a number of others, were unable to attend due to restrictions.
