Here I sit at 2am, doing an essay on the modal ontological argument that I have known about for maybe 6 weeks but is due in tomorrow, I have gone through a bottle of wine, its all very sociable this uni lark....im essentially studying what most people would call a doss subject (philosophy, will have few vocational prospects but hey ho I liove it.

God night and god bless FRA forumites, by thw wqay im running again so fear not il soon be spiuting more shite on here on a regular basis

Well I hope that your typing on your essay was better than on the forum and secondly students drinking wine - it was bitter / Guinness / snake bites / black velvets and Newcastle Brown when I was at Uni!!!

Sounds like your time management was the same as mine when I was studying - remember thinking foolishly when being given a piece of work how this time I would get on with it earlier and never leave it to the last minute - never happened.

On another note talking of Doss, have you joined the Uni XC club? - coached by (all-round good guy) Greg Hull and are running in the PECO xc league this year for the first time, as well as the usual student races.

Be reet. You only need 40% to pass your first year. Why waste your time flogging your guts to get 60-70% when its not necessary eh!

There may even be other perks... When I went back to uni I averaged 90% for my first year for which I received an award and £1000.
