    Rhino - thats basically £100 worth !!

I do keep finding those little cloth bags for keeping fancy sunglasses in - usually Oakleys.

I wonder if Buffs are like caterpillars
they sit on your head and when they are full up of wind, rain, sweat, brain waves or whatever they eat then they sneak off under a rock and metamorphose crawling back out into the light as a beautiful sunglasses bag.

I lost a green merino wool buff last winter around ulswater somewhere, it was my winter best friend, but I am sad like that. Got another now though.

Is it meant to be this hard?

Who still has their Noonstone 2010 buff and wears it, used to see loads, but they seem to be less visible, though i've not raced outside North Yorks so much this year.

I still wear mine and at the moment it makes a great draught excluder round the neck region for those winter runs.

Well I lost my Wrekin Wrecker one from last year - no idea where it went - just like socks.

Then two weeks ago got my new Wrekin Wrecker buff so I am back to 1 again, quite strange really because I was skeptical about their use then once I got a free one I really missed it when it went walk about.

To be pedantic if I may I've never owned a 'Buff' but have one Choob having lost a previous black Choob.

CtJ......"Get on the programme", as our trans-Atlantic cousins would say!!

My first "buff" was a genuine K-Wind 'Tour-de-France' item ( black with orange lettering & logos ) bought from a bike shop sale at St jean-de-Mer in the Vendee in 2006 for a meagre 9 Euros ( down from 18 ). After the 2007 Duddon, I rinsed it and hung it on the van's bull-bar to dry. Forgot all about it when I drove off the following morning and can only guess that it is still hibernating in a ditch somewhere along the Duddon Valley road; unless it has been "liberated" by a "forager and hoarder"!!
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!
