Access to water at Esk Hause

I was up at Esk Hause on Saturday looking for water. There are, as expected, two sources of water one to the north and also to the south which I could use. I was wondering if anyone knows if these sources are flowing during the summer months? I was looking in to creating a new aid station for the Satmap 10 Peaks which takes place in July – next year we are planning to filter the water rather than carrying it all up the mountain!

The spring on the path towards Scafell Pike (it's about 400m away) is fairly reliable. I can't remember it drying up.

Filter it!!! It's better than any corporation pop

Yep, I've never know this one be dry. And I'll third the don't filter thing... it's spot on as it is.

I/m assuming folks are referring to the spring towards calf cove? I've never known it dry up. It's like nectar
