    Salomon S-Lab Sense

Preview of the shoe based on what many of us will have seen Kilian Jornet wearing at his wins at both Western States and UTMB in 2011.

    Only 185 grammes.

Look like they will be very expensive when they do appear:

BTW, I tried to find out the UK price, but it's not been determined yet. However, with American and continental prices set at $200/€200. That should give those with more of an understanding of UK pricing an idea of the price point.

    Thanks Bryon.

All will become clear in due course I guess.

Need to hear more about these, to be honest, because I have become very attached to my S-Lab 3s.

I'm sure I read that these also come with a voucher for some S-Lab 4s and a book about Kilian Jornet's 2011 WS100 race. Of course, that could just be internet bozwellocks.

If I get a start at next years UTMB im looking to buy some XT Wings S Lab 4's. They are expensive but most of the new Salomon shoes are but they sure are good. Fellcross and speedcross 3 are great.

Dixie, I'm a huge fan of the S-Lab 4 Soft Ground. I ran all of my 70 miles at UTMB in them. I'd planned to change them once I was done in the mud, but they were great all around. I'm now loving them on the pack-snow trails high up in Utah's mountains.

This has just come out for anyone that didn't see the live event on the 26th about the sense. Looks like a fantastic shoe so far. In terms of the UK price I have scouted around and found it at £150 which is pretty steep but not as much as I thought.

Here is an in depth hour long feature on the Salomon Sense

Here is the website I found the Sense on
