Just seen updates on Twitter "No records will be broken today. Conditions are very challenging, Nick is behind 24 hour schedule just now. Still not appeared at Dunmail" @ 11:25

10 mins later "Nick sighted dropping down to Dunmail now"

    To Press:-
Left Moot Hall at 02.05, Skiddaw 03.30, Gt Calva 04.35, Blencathra 06.35,Threkeld 07.03 - 07.28 with John Fleetwood & Huw Price (Kahtoolas on all 3 tops & down the "parachute descent")
    Clough Head 08.22, ..... Helvellyn 09.00, .... Dunmail Raise 11.43 - 11.50
Still deciphering times for other Leg 2 tops - Nav ( Ian Barnes ) reported atrocious weather ( 50 mph winds ) and under foot conditions ( Kahtoolas over Helvellyn ) but confirmed that Nick had definitey visited all the summits. I.B. reckons that Nick is ascending v. well
Bill Williamson & Richard Davies had him up Steel Fell in double quick time, really surprised us all.

I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Those were my thoughts. Maybe the snow has blown away from the ridges as his time for leg 2 didn't seem too bad. Pure speculation though.

Basically had the wind on their backs for most of L2.
Currently at Wynn's re-stocking the truck and ditching some very wet cothing, then heading round to Wasdale for 4.30 ( ish )
