Yup. The weather looks interesting, not quite the clear skies and snow underfoot that we had last year, more low cloud, strong winds, and heavy rain

Thinking of doing either the Noon Stone or the Wild Boar race tomorrow as a warm up...

I did it last year for the first time for a few years, infact the first time since the original one, that replaced the good old Chew Valley Skyline, a classic. So as you can tell I am no spring chicken, just enjoying running again, sometimes!

Can you start off by letting us know the gender of the friend you'll be "doing it" with? That will narrow down the tips, as well as giving some AllanT some mental images for later.

In the meantime, I'm sure Daz has some er, educational, videos he can lend you...

Main tip would be to contact the organisers asap to see if they're accepting late entries - the closing date was 2 weeks ago

    New Chew

A massive thank you to Saddleworth organisers, helpers, and anyone else who helped out to make this such a great race.
Really enjoyed my day and the scenery was great.
Shame my timing was rubbish and that I lost loadsa points for returning late, but hey it won't happen again!
...oh, and no, my legs didn't get cold in shorts but so so pleased I had my hat and mittens!
    Thanks
