Bit of a long shot (well, a lot of a long shot) but I lost my car key in the Shelf Moor area on New Year's Eve. Having found out the cost of a replacement I will gladly pay a £50 reward/donation to a worthy cause if anyone fancies a wild goose chase and actually finds it.

We headed from the plane wreck (Overexposed) to Higher Shelf Trig and followed the trod down Shelf Benches and along Mossy Lea to the turning circle. I'm pretty sure it was still in the rucksack pocket at the plane wreck.

Will have to wait until after pay day to order a new one, so there's a couple of weekends for searching! Its a black Fiat key (in case you find more than one!).

I'll be up that way in the next fews I'll keep an eye out. laminate your mobile number and attach it to your new set. it might take a while but every thing turns up eventually, I've found a GPS and some 2 way radios on Bleaklow but with no way to contact the owners...?

Thanks for tip about laminating contact details Ian. Went to Glossop police station to report loss in case someone handed it in - closed from 1pm on 31 Dec to 3 Jan!

Well trilbies are all very well for summer fell running, but for the Trigger I'd recommend a deerstalker.
