I was able to return a lost Trilby last summer - the owner had written his phone number on the inside rim and by pure fluke he also lived in Marple.

Never found a trilby on Bleaklow...!

Probably did. Met the Rucksack Club above WBC too, half way through their Marsden Edale meet. A good bunch of chaps.

of course but it had a flat battery and I didn't have the chargeing unit
