A windy day on the Lakes 3000s

I did the Lakes 3000s yesterday which was quite a challenge in the wind. Has anyone else on here (apart from Ronald Turnbull) done a mid-winter Lakes 3000s? I can't say its my favourite route, but it made a good challenge yesterday.

I've written it up on my blog.

Another great effort John, Must have been a bit wild yesterday. Do you look for challenging weather to add to the excitement??

I love to read Johns accounts and bad weather seems to be a pre requisite! keep it going!

I've just been reading Ben's Munro Blog.

Very, very inspiring. What is he/you going to do next together?
