    The Derbyshire Derwent, surely?
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

High Neb, close but no cigar
to put everyone out of their misery it's Flask Edge (between Hathersage and Totley - that's the trees above the Longshaw Estate just to the left of the trig)
and I was recce-ing the GoBigMoor race which is next month (and which route looks superb btw)

    Trig.jpg

Found a new trig today. Thought I spotted it from my walk so diverted to check it out.

Hough Hill, just above Brindle. Great views across to the West Pennine Moors to the South, Pendle to the East and the Bowland Fells to the North.
On a better day will see much farther, probably to North Wales and the Lakes.
