Middle Tongue, nice one Stolly. I'll be out all year with my knee problem but this trig pointing thing is getting me out on the hills a bit. The Chapel Moor/Middle Tongue route from Cray is a real cracker, great running ground, I've started a cairn on Chapel Moor scar- if you're ever up there you could add to it

I've thought in the past, when looking at the YD map, that Meugher looks like a good place to run to.

I bet it is seldom visited.
Meugher is one i've done already, from How Stean beck.

Quick climb up another not so well known trig today, Horse Head, some familiar tops in the background.

Bugger! You've annoyed me now as I've never been to that trig. I have been over that ridge from Foxup and down into Langstrothdale but I think I followed the path to the west over Eller Carr

visited Pale Heights/aka Hangingstone Hill/aka Eddisbury Hill the other week:
    http://hill-summitareas.co.uk/html/5339.htm
I didn't have a camera with me, but it was far more overgrown than in the above link - you'd've needed a machete to get to it
lots of people get up there, but I'm not sure how many know there's a trig tucked in next to the water tower
it used to get a bit of traffic from summit-baggers, as it was considered to be the local HuMP (Hundred Metre Peak)
but it was re-measured recently and stripped of this status in favour of the nearby High Billinge
Scramble the rock face through the glare of morning sun — to run

Visited this trig point quite a few times over the years when cycling/running over Horse Head Pass. My mate used to live at Raisgill Farm at Yockenthwaite so it was handy calling in for a brew.

Got out up to one i've been rained off a few times now. It's a fairly stout and boggy trek along the ridgeline from Horse Head, over somewhere called Cosh Outside and up to the trig; the map doesn't name it but Stolly might know what it's called! Plover Hill is in the background.

Along the way i found a Reef Knoll complete with fossilised corals...

and the source of the River Skirfare, where 2 bog drains come together to start Cosh Beck...
