There will be a lot of counting and jostling for position in the middle of the field.

Perhaps you should have kept the £100 voucher for 100th place a secret!

Or simply give out 100 spot prizes. I got one of the 25 spot prizes at the 25th anniversary Pendle Fell Race (that's the 25th anniversary of the race, not of C-le-MH. Even so, that does rather show my age).

I was throwing the logistics of this round in my head, and thinking you'd have to be capable of starting quickly in the first 20 or so, then being able to keep count of a slow descent back through the field to 100th.

Otherwise you're not going to be able to track your position if you're around 100th off the start line.

Perhaps this is what makes it foolproof.

I'm just picturing the front runners all stood just before the start line counting everyone through before a quick sprint for 100th place 😆

Can you add a race limit of 100 to give me a chance?
