6 of us went round the bulk of the route starting from Hope, don't know if anyone was wearing walshes though. It was a fantastic day, great to be able to see something of the route for a change.

Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run
Mrs STL did the second half Sunday but was wearing mudclaws. Simgreen, you must have been one of the people I asked about seeing a woman runner out there. I was expecting her to do the second half in about 2hrs, but she managed to slip in a couple of interesting detours which slowed her down. I think she has those bits sorted for the main day now.
Yep it was a beautiful day to be out there.
Nice to meet you STL.
Thanks for the run Simgreen.
Dear All.
Sorry if these questions have been asked before.
1) Which is the best route over Win Hill? Stick to the main track or the little trod which runs parallel to it?
2) The best route off Lose Hill?
Ta
Tim
1)very little in it. it's early in the race. go the opposite way to every one else for some peace! better running on top, rougher and marginally shorter below.
2) there's more than one? down to fence corner over this and down to path through the woods. if you want to go over back tor I guess you could?
Be Humble. Sit Down.
Don't worry about Lose Hill Tim, last year it was pretty much marked as there was a marshall with a ladder as a makeshift stile.
The line isn't obvious outside of race day, but it's easy on the day.
