    English Champs - how?

Sorry if this is a daft question, but how do the English Champs work ? May be I'm missing something (a brain?) but I can't seem to figure this out from the calendar in terms of how many races count. Is it simply the points scored from all the races you do or do you have to do a certain numer such as 1 each of short, medium or long or do your best three count or what?

    ta!

    a) 1 long, 1 medium, 1 short, + 1 other = 4 to count
    b) 3 from any category to count (which obviously is a disadvantage)

    U23, MV70, LV60, LV65 any 3 from short and medium. (longs don't count)
Older age categories count in younger vet categories (if good enough!)
I think you'll find that it's up to four races (and if you do use four, they must include one from each distance) so it is, theoretically, possible to win by just doing well in one race.

What does 'b' mean. Can you do three short ones to count then?

Thanks Guys - makes it a bit clearer. It is in the calendar after all - just me being dense as I thought! Presumably with the long, you just have to have done it rather than score points in it . I reckon I can get points in the short and mediums but always struggle on the longer races (soft southerner you see!)

Anyone done the Great lakes Run before? If so -any advice?
