I am training for an attempt at the end of May and was wondering how many women have completed the round, anyone know?

AS, scan through the BG members' list. ydt
I think I saw reference to 120 recently. It might have been on Morgan's piece for the iRunfar blog
EDIT: it was 110 mentioned here

Heather Dawe was the 100th a couple of years ago so Andy's guess of 120 would seem about right though there did seem to be a significant number of women receiving certificates at the dinner last year.
I think there has been a summary posted on here by Morgan, can't be sure though.

Without me you'd be one place nearer the back
I thought it was about 80.... but seems like a few more have done it in the last couple of years - i heard that women had a higher success rate but maybe that was just reckoning?
you set a date? need any pacers? - always on for pacing / navigating legs if you need any more folks
By my calculations, it's not easy telling if "Chris" is a male or female, the current number of successful women is 127 or about 7% of the total.

Fantastic, thanks for the info. Amazing that it's so few for such a large number of good female fell runners out there....
Hopefully, my name can be added to the list on the 25th May! :w00t:

Legend also has it that there was a Roberta called 'Bob', until she could stand the Fla(c)k.
PS. and sometimes 'Bob' turns out in fact to be 'Kate' (a-la-Blackadder..) :closed:
