Yes, Noonstone went the same way, been replaced by Flower Scar, good AM, bit on the short side, at just over 6 mile, but a good blast all the same

Thanks peawet08 so it's true! gutted.... Missed last years race due to work commitments.
Wonder if the Scientific Interest was a way of stopping a wind farm?

Though agree Erosion is a problem as seen on other races like Tour of Pendle which has diversions from original race route.

Worrying Trend.. did Noone Stone go the same way?

The moor the noon stone passed over to get to two lads cairn and on to little holder stones is used for nesting by the Pennine Finch (twite). i understand this was one of the main reasons the noonstone was cancelled.

Just looked up the Pennine Finch.. down to 100 breeding pairs in 1990's.!!!
