I get lost when I recce it!! nevermind on the day! Had a great run first time, nightmare last year though between cp 7 & 8!

good run up there today - missed 2 climbs first because it was quite clear which way we should so so thought saving the legs would be a better decision and the second we missed as it's in the field we aren't supposed to go in - so we didn't

Got some good advice from a runner from Horwich that we bumped into going up the ramp - he took a shortcut! Showed us the right route down from the mast then checkpoints 8 onwards. Very handy compass info given - thanks Graham you were a star

And I wouldn't take too much advice from the Horwich lads!
If I remember rightly Pikes advice last year was to follow the red shirts, funny as invented his own little addition to the course!
