    Posts and Running

With obvious exceptions (don't want to offend Steve Foster and Derby Tup),
is there an inverse relationship between posts on the forum and fell running ability?

Being on the verge of Masterhood I've started taking these things seriously. There are some excellent runners on the old forum but they tend to post sporadically at best (unless KK is Ian Homes or Rob Jebb of course!).

So is there something in the theory? Am I jeopardizing my fell running career? Is it too late already??? Cripes.

Quite a bold claim, based on what evidence?

I can think of a few posters on here, some masters , who are extremely good runners, top 10 or even top 5 in local races, two have won their age group in the Lakeland Classics....

actually DazH hasn't been posting very much in the last year and his performances have rocketed, I like to think my posting time is recovery time..

Chin up Stagger, we are all emperors who venture out on the moors.

I run more miles a year than posts, if that helps!

Posting on this here internet forum won't affect your fellrunning results. However, it might help you meet the Chairman and Secretary of the FRA, the General Manager of the BBC Philharmonic and a world renown composer, the only man to do a 60@60 extended Bob Graham and the President of the Bob Graham Club, along with literally dozens of wonderful true friends including some who'll drive half the length of the country to help you do something you thought might be impossible

ha ha ha...I was wondering about that but thought it wasn't tactful to point out the omission! Yep, you never know who you'll meet here. You can also discover some great poetry, see some amazing photographs, hear about exciting events (not just fell races) and get your obscure sounding insect identified (it has happened!).
