'The birds are the keepers of our secrets'
Its got off to a slow trickle at the moment:
1 x Blackbird
2 x Great Tits
2 x Blue Tits
1 x Robin
I might have to ditch the peanut feeder and double up on the seed feeder as that is the most popular. Theres a gap under the bushes where the snow didn't get to so I will put some ground stuff down there for the Blackbirds.
No country for old men.
Slim pickings in our survey hour:
1 each: robin, fieldfare
2 starlings
3 each blackbird and house sparrow.
Just done ours:
6 blackbirds
13 chaffinches
5 great tits
7 blue tits
1 nuthatch
1 jay
2 moorhens
1 dunnock
2 robins
1 reed bunting
4 house sparrows
1 mallard
1 coal tit
1 greater spotted woodpecker
1 little grebe

Couple of tits this afternoon.
Now watering the whole garden for more wildlife later on in the week.
Having a beer while watching the sprinkler.
Was woken by the chorus around 4am this morning.
One in particular "chirp chirp chirp" but don't know enough to identify it.
If you had a telescopic sight could you see it??
Chiffchaff perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP1qGx0xNdA
They often chirps in threes: "chiffchaffchiff"
