ahhh but do you get albino peacocks in your garden? I do! Although they seem to have started hanging out at the old folks home round the corner. Great to see them roosting in the trees nearby when it's full moon, proper fairytale stuff!

I have to confess that longtailed tits classify as some of our "usual suspects". They don't visit the garden every day, but often enough. We're very lucky with birds here as we're on the river with ancient woodland on the banks in may stretches (too steep to farm). And we get farmland birds as well.

Its got off to a slow trickle at the moment:

1 x Blackbird
2 x Great Tits
2 x Blue Tits
1 x Robin

I might have to ditch the peanut feeder and double up on the seed feeder as that is the most popular. Theres a gap under the bushes where the snow didn't get to so I will put some ground stuff down there for the Blackbirds.

1 each: robin, fieldfare

3 each blackbird and house sparrow.

One in particular "chirp chirp chirp" but don't know enough to identify it.

It may have been... certainly as likely as any of the other birds i've tried to identify it as.
