Living in Cumbria, there are plenty of races but getting to them is another matter at times. The fells sort of got in the way of the road builders. I could of course make like Joss and run to the races but thats not really within my capabilities.
Hazy - whilst the South Pennines may have quantity the quality is still in the Lakes; I've only ventured past Kirby Stephen for a few races so far, but based on my Langdale/Helvelyn experiences, I think I need join you up there more often...

I've always wondered if Stoodley Pike is the most visited spot in fell races (not counting races that do laps). It may well be challenged by the Jubilee Tower on Moel Famau but it's got to be in with a shout.

Off the top of my head

    Stoodley Pike
    Shepherds Skyline
    Calderdale Way
Good Shepherd (twice from different directions)
    Coiners
    Howarth Hobble
    Noon Stone (!)

Please feel free to nominate somewhere else

I've sampled quite a few of these in recent weeks; Stoodley Pike, Cragg Vale, Tom Tittiman, Reservoir Boggs, Wicken Hil Whizz, Jubilee Race - what I have missed? Think Eddies Revenge would have counted
