Just bought a Petzl Core battery for my Tikka Plus2 head tourch looks and sounds a good bit of kit which can be charged using a USB conection upto 300 charges the equivalent to 900 AAA batteries, has anyone else got one and what are your opinions on them.http://www.petzl.com/us/outdoor/head...e-and-os-petzl
I was just about to post about this. I'm considering getting one for my Tikka XP2 but thinking of getting a Silva Trail Runner headtorch instead. I do like the idea of the core battery - it's a money saver and you get regulated light - but the XP2 is hardly the brightest these days (still a neat torch though). I guess that it'll be compatible with Petzl's next round of torches so may be a wise investment.
Anyway, really keen to hear how you get on with it.
