Thread: New Balance MT110 Have Arrived

Re: New Balance MT110 Have Arr

    Ordered.

My F-195s have just about come to the end of their life. Managed to get a year out of them, plenty of miles in them. Upper has come away from the sole on the outside near the toes. Grip has worn smooth, but thats to be expected.

Will give these ago, was going to pick some Minimus's up, but will give these ago, seen as they are cheap!

I dunno. This is Sports Direct we are talking about....a credit note at best.

You're right Dan - on second read of the Irunfar review I can see it's identical (must get my eyes tested!)

I've got a pair of the original minimus and to this day they are my favourite shoe, and apparently the same last as the mt110. Hursty you should get yourself a pair of the new minimus trail zero's to go with your 110's, I'm sure you'd love em.

Yeah I reckon I'll pick some of those up as well, mainly for gym/circuit work, with the odd run we do at work.

Thats what I fancy a pair for. Got my olympic shoes for lifting but they're no good for circuits. Just trying to decide between the trail and road minimus or inov8 xf210. Think the inov8's are probably a bit to minimal for any running a circuit might incorporate so will probably go with one of the nb's.

had a look at the 110's in sports direct today, they were really light! but didnt like the look of the sole, the lugs just didnt look deep enough and they were square! also the upper isnt made of much and hence no protection at all for the toes. probably be quite nice to run in but not very much cushioning there for long runs by the looks of things.

Yeah the 'trails' will probably suit me better as we use inside and outside for circuits etc, plus they look awesome!

Also checked them out today. Nice and light, but I think, for my patented clumsy running technique, I am going to just try the Wave Harriers or Kanadias. which I have arriving this week, to replace my knackered Roclites. Also, I like to have one go to shoe regardless of condtions, and if my Roclites wash out on certain muddy trails, these look like they will be loosing grip even earlier.

....might pick some up later in the year, if it looks like being a scorcher of a summer and its bone dry trails from here to the Winter

Having run in them in conditions more suited to mudclaws I'd say they're grippier than they look. I thought they'd be less grippy than the 101 but they definitely surpas them on all surfaces particularly wet rock.
