Whatever the side effects of all the other non-legal drugs are, many/most of them seem to induce mellowness/zonked outness rather than aggression don't they?
It's only tolerated as a "legal" drug because there is so much vested economic interest both from the brewery owners ( either large multi-nationals or powerful, often titled, individuals ), retailers and from HMC&E. A recently qualified doctor that I know, having spent several months in his first hospital position, made the observation; " If it were possible to eradicate fags and booze, we could close half of the wards." Which IMHO, fully justifies the government in taxing these "products" out of existence ... somebody has to pay for the treatment; it might as well be the over-indulgent idiots who require the treatment?
I was a bit of an oddball until I was abducted by aliens; but I'm perfectly OK now!

Yea,its funny how this dangerous legal drug alcohol is accepted. If the little old man who habitually has 3 or 4 bottles of stout got stoned on a bit of green , he would be classed as a DRUG user,an addict !!! but they are both mind altering drugs.
Alcohol makes some people aggressive and some the opposite, drugs the same ,can of worms !!! No wonder alcohol is called the evil. When you ask people who drink regulaly if they think they have a problem ,most say no but ask them to take alcohol out of the equation, wherever they go,whatever function, every situation including at home and ask them if they are happy with it !

    Re: Legalise Drugs?

2 years ago the chief advisor on drug policy to the British Governemnt announced that LSD cannabis and ecstasy were less harmful than alcohol and cigarettes...which in turn were less harmful than barbiturates, cocaine and heroin. All pretty bloody obvious, one would have thought...except to the Government, who sacked him...
