    Doesn't get easier for us owd uns but there were still plenty behind me (and quite a few in front) but still most enjoyable - I liked the added touch of the "holding pen" before the start so numbers of runners could be counted - just adds to the ever so slightly bonkers feel about the whole event.

    Ah we have seen the results now and realise that Lucas was not 4th (4th was Alistair Thornton) sorry Alistair we cant amend the file on you tube now!!

    Shock at Shutlingsloe today. Simon Bailey was beaten into 2nd place by Josh Boyle. Great finish - there was 1 second in it.

    Helen Thornhill retained her ladies trophy. Results are on twitter - if you can read them. I'll try to type them up later tonight.

    This year's Shutlingsloe fell race will be on Sunday September 19th. Entry on the day. Part of the delayed (due to COVID) Rose Queen fete. See you there.
