If you're heading up that way, perhaps you could marshall the furthest point on the under-12s, race which goes to the top of the bluebell woods.

I'll see you on the day
Have you got a route map (me being a southern foreigner???) I'll se you there.

Nice one Dom. It seems I'm still learning - I didn't know that was online. I would recommend the best photo spot is at the top stile. Any higher and you risk people taking different lines on the descent and you missing them.

    Re: Shutlingsloe

Thanks to everyone who came along today. I've just sent the results to Brett - let me know if there are any mistakes.

As it was my first time organising this, here are some things we'll do differently next year:

Earlier prizegiving: it always annoys me to have to wait ages after races. Thanks to those who stuck around in the rain today.
More prizes for juniors: there were some fantastic performances today. In future, I'll acknowledge this with more category prizes.
The kitty for beating the course record increases each year. We had both record holders there today, but they couldn't improve on their previous fantastic times this year.

Other suggestions? Apart from changing the course

Thanks for being official photographer today Dom. I hope you got some good ones before the rain set in.

They're looking pretty good to me.

Can I use them for my race report?

Thanks Noel for the race. Smoothly organised and enjoyably painful!
And good to see you too Dom.
