Especially for Bristol Bikefest amd Mountain Mayhem, thank you Chris and Qoroz for making it possible for me to do insane stuff like 24 hr MTB racing

Very, very nice hope you have a good first race at Bristol on it.

I've lusted over their road frames but didn't realise they were doing MTBs now as well. There's something about Ti hardtails that's just right ... my old Soda was my all time favourite bike ... major tragedy when it broke.

    Elliptic,

I have a Road Won, their road race frame, and their prototype cyclocross frame, which was made for me with both canti bosses and mounts for dics, so I have the option to fit either canti's for 'normal' cross racing, or discs for something like 3 Peaks CX. They are fab bikes! As soon as I get on them, they become part of me. I think it is the geometry and material. You can't beat Ti for a bike frame in my opinion Not cheap, however, they should all last me a lifetime! They fit like a glove, so no reason to change

Sounds and looks lovely, I bet it's a load faster than the one in your other pics.

I'm trying to justify a ti mtb to match my omega road bike but can't persuade myself yet...

Just need to decide exactly what I want and in custom I guess. Anyone gone that way with ti?

I did that a few years back. An 06 Litespeed frame and built the rest around XT and ceramic rim brakes all modelled on the bike Gunn-Rita used the season before. Got the weight down to just below 20lbs inc pedals, a cage and bar ends without any fancy kit (KCNC etc). Rides VERY fast and is not too twitchy but it is also not that comfortable after say 1.5 hrs; Ti is not necessarily the comfort panacea you read about.

My Ti road bike and Ti cross bike are custom made frames, hence they fit so well... This 29er is Qoroz's demo model that I have been given to use this season. It is well specced and it is the perfect size for me though and after last nights ride on Hatterall Ridge I am even more pleased with it. On first impressions it is faster than the Kona, but strangely enough, it doesn't feel it... I am going to have to do a like for like comparison next, do one lap on the Qoroz, then another on the Kona and Garmin it and compare. It certainly rolls beautifully and fast over stuff. I could ride up a steep ascent much further than I can on the Kona... and it flies downhill

The tyres it came with aren't great shakes, the rear is well worn and the front jkept clogging up with mud and washing away, so I have ordered some tubeles ready Nobby Nics, as it has Stans rims...

Not another "Steambunny Divorceobike" I hope :w00t:?

Missus is thinking of getting a bike, but hers will be strictly for gentle peddling with a basket on the front - probably to take tortoises out for a picnic .
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
