    Thanks Pennine

For a rather delightful (if slightly damp) excursion onto Kinder, and back into a pub this evening.
Twas great to be out with a number of different clubs on a non-competitive and thoroughly social event.

We should do that again some time. (though preferably without the lost dogs and dogs getting washed away down streams and subsequent injuries to venerated members of clubs etc).

HEAR HEAR!! Rather wet indeed, but thoroughly enjoyable! Good to see you, Lynne and all the other Glossopians on 'thills and in the Royal!

It's Helen Pritchard we should be thanking she organised it! It was great to see so many out in the pouring rain, we should all meet up more often.

Echo all that was said. I really the enjoyed my long chat with the three Dark Peakers in the pub. Helen needs to organise better weather for the next one.
I never ran as quick as I did coming down Tunstead fields. I though if I try to break I will just slip so best to just go with it. My Inov8 333s were fantastic in those conditions last night.

It wasn't Julian's dog, it was Becky's dog Elsa. Not sure of the details but understand Loveshack saved the day and is now Becky's hero!

Great to be out there last night and can highly recommend the hot choccy they serve in the Royal as post-run reward.

Sad I missed it but I have come down with a cold and would like to be recovered for Monday nights race so running around in the heavy rain was just not going to happen
