Great to be out there last night and can highly recommend the hot choccy they serve in the Royal as post-run reward.
Elsa (Becks dog) and Brae (Juliens) were both wanting their post-run dip in the stream....most enthusiastically...so in to their bellies they went and before we knew it Elsa was off downstream....Loveshack went straight in, no hesitation and before he knew it was also swept off his feet. What happened downstream I couldn't see but dog and he were pulled out without (serious) injury. I do believe Loveshack may have "just grazed" his hand. The force and power of knee deep water is not to be underestimated.

I'm glad I didn't bring my Jack Russell, Buster, out last night I might have lost him forever!

I had visions of it happening above Kinder Downfall. It was such a torrent last night, made for a tricky crossing. Getting washed away up there would have been an extremely dangerous situation.

There were quite a few taken (by various people) at the bridge at the bottom of Williams Clough. I assume they will start to surface eventually
