    I bought some Aldi cycling shorts about 5 years ago and they're still going strong - I've got them on today (at work but not changed yet!)

    But I also bought a windblocker/softshell top which was cra* - really noticed the difference from a similar product by Gore in terms of fit, comfort, breathability etc etc.... but then it was £90less!

    My bike is a pretty good one but I must admit to having the drop handle bars retaped as they didn't match my outfit :-)

    Aldi have packable waterproof smock and trousers in at the moment which weigh in at about 500 grams together and cost £18 in total. Bargain.
